Dockside started in 2011 with one van parked by the Kennet and one rule: treat people’s time as if it costs something. 15 years on we are four people and two vans, still small on purpose, so whoever quotes your job is whoever does it.
Ask any plumber for these four before you let them near a stopcock. Ours are on the van door as well as the website.

We keep the slot
A booking is a promise. If we are ever going to run late, and it is rare, you get the call before the slot starts rather than after it.

Price before work
You should never learn the price from the invoice. Standard jobs are agreed in writing before a tool comes off the van.

Leave it nicer
Dust sheets, shoe covers, a proper tidy-up. We work in your house the way we would want somebody working in ours.

Registration, insurance and guarantee terms belong at the top of the page, not buried in the small print. Ours are four lines up from here, and the cover certificate goes out with every quote.
